TIGER MOTH VINTAGE FLIGHTS

A beautiful classic aircraft
from the 1930s Soar and wheel through the sky, feeling for yourself sensations of a time when flying was adventure, freedom, fun A flight in the De Havilland DH82A Tiger Moth is a unique experience: a memory that lasts a lifetime. Rare today, the "Tiger" was built in thousands before and during the last war as a trainer for the RAF and Air Forces across the British Empire and also for private owners in the golden flying age of the thirties. In the Tiger Moth, the passenger sits in the front cockpit and the pilot in the rear. A modern electronic "intercom" has replaced the original air tubes through which instructor and student had to shout! Flights and trial lessons are planned to last from 20 minutes up to one hour. Briefings are given by Avia Special's experienced pilots and staff and, since the flight may be a "trial lesson", they are also happy to advise on how progress can be made to gain a private pilot's licence. |
