The Zlin Z526 Trener

A flight in the Zlin Z526 Trener shows a rare blend of military trainer and light aerobatic aircraft. This is the aircraft in which thousands of pilots in Central Europe gained their first skills as aviators.
Designed for air force basic training and for use by national aero clubs, the Z526 was also flown in World Aerobatic Championships.
The pilot sits in the rear and the passenger in the front seat, which offers the viewpoint of a fighter pilot with clear views down the long nose.

Flights and trial lessons are usually planned to last from 15 minutes up to one hour and briefings are given beforehand by experienced pilots and staff.
