Home of West London Aero Club,
White Waltham is one of the oldest and best-known airfields in the country. Set in 196
acres of delightful Berkshire countryside, west of London, it is one of the largest grass
airfields in Europe. Close to the M4 near Maidenhead, White Waltham is just to the west of
Windsor and Heathrow. West London Aero Club has a friendly and historic clubhouse, with an easy-going atmosphere and plenty of parking space. With a wide choice of aircraft and enthusiastic instructors, manicured lawns and congenial surroundings, it is a flying club in the true sense of the word. The Clubhouse, open seven days a week, has restaurant facilities and a licensed bar where light refreshments are served. It contains conference facilities with private rooms for up to 25 people that can be booked for both daytime and evening use. Corporate Entertainment can take advantage of the full facilities of White Waltham airfield including light aircraft operations, helicopters, aerobatic flying, displays and demonstrations and ground activities and events. In addition to facilities in the clubhouse, marquees can be used to cater for larger numbers. |
